Aternaville is gorgeous in the sunset. I got some really great shots of the horizon; of the skyline. Not quite as spectacular as the pictures I took on the roof at school before the World Trade Towers were no more, but then again, is there anywhere that can compare to the old Manhattan skyline? Maybe, but I've never had the chance to take ( Read more... )

Once I have some stuff together, I'd be happy to show you :) I need to find a place to get these developed... I don't do digital; it doesn't feel the same. Well, at least I don't do digital now, but I'd switch if I had to for a job.

I'm sure if there's not a local place, you could probably find one in Toronto. My idea of picture-taking is holding up the mobile and pressing click.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Another trip to Toronto. Good thing it's not too far haha

That's how I started; nothing wrong with that ;)

As the saying goes, there is beauty in wisdom and wisdom in beauty. It has been a long, long time since I've seen a sunset, and, if you'll believe me, Kimberly, I have never seen a dawn.

It would give me no greater joy than to see the dawn through your lens.

I haven't bothered with a sunset in ages and I only saw sunrises because of Daylight Savings Time and too-early classes. You should look sometime, though, it's so much better in real life.

As soon as I have my stuff developed and put together, I'd love to show it off :) I'll let you know as soon as I do!

No, I'm sorry, I saw a dawn once, while I was traveling, but it was not exactly under the best circumstances. You see, I cannot be exposed to sunlight, it's part of a...condition, I've had since birth. The term medical scientists of this era use is porphyria cutanea tarda.

I have only ever known life by moonlight, ever since I was a boy.

Oh, wow...I'd never heard of that but I just googled it and yeah, I wouldn't go out in the sun, either... You can definitely look at my photos once I have them developed. It's really rather stunning, the colors and all. I'll keep you posted and we'll get together soon, k?

Aternaville has a nice cemetery, as far as that goes. Picturesque, I suppose, if a bit too clean. But it's not nearly as interesting as the one where I grew up.

Then again, I might be partial.

Really? Awesome, are there any mausoleums? Those are always pretty in photos. Or any especially pretty headstones?

Why would you be partial to a cemetary?

Hi Lidia :)

Oh! I know specs and whatnot, but I still haven't gotten the hang of camera names and all that yet. Especially digital, because I've just been using this old, clunky 35mm one that my mom gave me before she died. It's a Canon, though, so we have that much in common haha
