Santa Baby [Wishlist 2010 and holiday gifts for my flist!]
OK, so I mentioned in my last entry that I'm doing the Wishlist Project this year, and here is my video and wishlist! :D I wasn't planning on posting this video here at all initially, but then I had a think about it and I decided that I wanted to because I'd love to get my LJ friends involved in it as well! You don't have to make a video, but it would be awesome if some of you guys could make your own wishlists and post them (it doesn't have to be fandom things, it can be anything at all, like books or DVDs etc!), because I really want to put on my Santa hat and fulfil some wishes this year :)

The Rules
Step One
#Make a video like this one. The video description should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love an icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
# If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
# Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in the video description so that the holiday joy will spread.
#Post your Wishlist Project video as a video response to this one so everyone can find the videos in one place.
Step Two
# Surf around Youtube to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
# If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. You don't need to claim that you're doing something for someone-if they get more than one of something they wanted, fantastic! Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
My wishlist
1. Film or TV show recs!! I love watching new things, and you never know, I could end up vidding it!
2. Colouring tutorials for Vegas (you don’t have to make one up just for me, linking to one here on YT that you’ve used is totally fine!)
3. Textures and nice fonts for Photoshop (I use CS4)
4. PSDs, tutorials and useful sites for icon-making would be wonderful! I’ve only just started iconning recently and I still have a lot to learn!
5. Music recs, especially Christmas music
6. A video dedicated to me with one or more of my favourite pairings (they’re listed below!)
7. Fic or video recs for my favourite pairings
8. A personalised LJ layout, including a header if possible (PM me for details of what I’d like)
9. More members of my graphics comm, whispersunreal - I have some exciting plans for what I want to do when I get to 50 members, and the things will be members-locked :D)
10. More friends and subscribers here on YT because I love getting to know people, and I’d love it if my current subscribers could get in touch just to say hi, because it’s great to get to know you all!

This video also serves as a test of sorts (I wanted to see what the colouring looked like!) for a Christmas video I'm planning :) The video is going to be dedicated to all you guys as part of my Christmas gift to you, and I'd love for you to suggest pairings for me to include. You can suggest anything at all, whether it's femslash or not - any fandom, any pairing, it's up to you! I'll probably include most of the fandoms in the list above, but if you want to be sure that your favourite pairing will be in the video let me know :)
The second part of my Christmas gift to my flist is that I'll be making icons by request for anyone who wants them! It's five icons per person, and you can request any fandom, any pairing, or you can request stock icons, animal icons, celebrity icons, holiday icons etc etc. It's totally up to you, so if you'd like me to make you some icons just drop me a comment and I'll get to work! If you have an idea of what you want your icon(s) to look like you can include a screencap or image :)
