L is a lie. A child who only wishes to solve puzzles.

Is that all you think it is, Maki-san?

Do my personal beliefs on justice count more than my enforcement of it, Yagami-san?

Your personal beliefs shape your actions.

I think it would depend on the situation.

I agree. I'm afraid I do not know your name yet, sir. You are?

I believe justice to be subjective.

Subjective? Why is that?

While I do wish for it, and will do everything in my power to make it so, as of yet I don't believe such a thing as a just order has ever existed... A truly just order would suggest that everyone is happy with it, and such a thought seems hardly plausible.

As such, it is subjective. To seek justice is to make oneself happy with the set terms, and the only way for everyone to view justice the same way is to completely remove their own sense of self.

Does this make sense?

Indeed. You really did put a lot of thought into this, Larsa, and I must say that I agree with some of your views.

There is no way to please everyone, no matter what kind of justice is implemented, is there? Such hindrances are why democracy is overrated

Just for curiosity's sake, are you happy with such an outcome?

It's one of those things you hear about, as you grow up, but you so rarely see anything like it. It would make the world a lot easier to tolerate, easier to understand. But it doesn't really exist, not the way people want it to.

A fairytale...

I understand the feeling. I must say I felt the same way before, with the rampant crime and corruption that no institution, or person, could effectively curb.

Private;

If you had the power to do something about it, would you?

Protecting people's basic right while not taking away the basic right of others.
