This is heartbreaking and terrible and so incredibly beautiful. Poor broken Regina. I've read it now several times because it evoked such strong emotions.

Thank you so much! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. I really enjoyed playing with the symmetry of it all; abuse is just such a tragically cyclical thing.

And the companion pieces are definitely forthcoming; that nine months reference was very deliberate. :)
