I kept hoping one of the contestants would say something reasonable about any of those controversial topics, and none of them did. They didn't even manage to come up with reasoned positions that I happened to disagree with. Just nonsense. (I can't remember why I started watching, but the train wreck was too much to turn off.)
Vermont managed to point out that giving people second-class citizen status was a crappy idea when she was talking about gay marriage. And it was interesting that one of them was coming at the question from the pov of a hunter, although I didn't catch what her actual position on gun control was.
Beyond that, though, it was mostly a disaster. And made even worse but the utterly unsubtle editing going on for most of the scene. Just. Made Of Fail, the whole thing.
And yet I'll probably still catch a rerun of the next episode, just in case I'm wrong and it turns out that they're not all bubble-headed bitchy girls.
