ahh that kind of makes sense. i was thinking of it like a regular ad to buy insurance and didnt really see a connection as to why superm would be a good choice.
so what are they going to do with Baekhyun enlisted? I know they still have talent, but he clearly carries their vocals .... at least for now. Are the other guys going to get more prime vocal spots?
(not this release, next release.)
Am I crazy for thinking that Mark can sing, he just doesn't have a tone or color that SM particularly likes? (Like maybe it's not unique.) Or did I make that up, and he just loves to sing ....
Well, Taemin is supposedly also enlisting this year, so there's one more vocalist down. I'm guessing either Ten will carry the songs the best he can (although to me it seems he needs another vocalist to balance with and there are 3 other rappers in the group + Kai who isn't really a strong vocalist imo) Or they'll say Super M is a rotational group and add a new member. :))) (in worst case scenario, Super M gets shelved, although I doubt it after how much they've invested in them)
To me Mark sounds rather pleasant when he sings in his range and I think he can get even better with the right support (SM pushes his role as a rapper a lot more though) - and here I am speaking solely on the acoustic covers he's done with Haechan ('cause those are the only moments of him singing that come to my mind right now).
so maybe Mark just isn't a tenor so they use him less?
Yes, I am curious where vocals will go, and I guess we'll find out! Eventually. SM has enough vocalists, I wouldn't care if some singers popped in to help them out.
