Yay for Lyra the journalist, pilgrim and bison photographer!
Also, I hope your father gets completely well again soon.
[I'm going to very much regret the non-appearance of "36 Views of Himring Hill", especially if inspired by the Achensee, which I've fond memories of. But clearly you have other things to think of at present!]
It was mostly the Dristenkopf that tickled the muses. But if I were to draw it, it would probably be hardly recogniseable anyway! (For starters, fortress on top. ;))
Thank you for the well-wishes, they're much appreciated.
Congrats on the freelancing gig! I didn't know there was a European bison. But bison calves!
I've seen multiple things floating around about what to call the planet; I actually don't have an opinion save that I'd like it to be female.
In Austria, where I spent the last week, they leave their Christmas decorations up until Candlemas, which is on Groundhog Day, which is Not Yet. So I'll pretend that I did that on purpose, waiting for Candlemas.
You have just given me my excuse for not having put away my Christmas stuff yet; I like having a "live" tree too much to remove it on Ephinany.
Yay for vacation!
I hope your father feels better soon!
Himring thoughts! And I'd also like to see the 36 Views of Himring Hill.
Winter and spring have been too mixed up this year, though not as badly here as there. (We're supposed to have a record high today.)

Put that way, I'm now caring a whole lot more than they choose that name.
Geez. I knew it was bad, but not that bad. :( I hope you get a bit more of a seasonable winter.
