Looking back, 2015 was a rough year for our heroes. Both Bleak and Lt Montez were horribly killed, Haley Lawson was so traumatized she quit altogether, and there was some trouble over Galvan I haven't chronicled yet. Bane had been toying with retirement for a year or so already, and the events of 2015 seem to have helped him make up his mind,.
I wanted to include a scene where Jocelyn really tears loose with the Red Spectre, causing mass destruction of the John Grim Institute, but the story seems to flow better without it. I'm sure at some point we'll see Jocelyn just lose her cool and send the Red Spectre out to rampage.
