Despite what he constantly told Dean about his dislike of camping, Sam woke up feeling rested. He carefully unzipped himself from his sleeping bag and edged his way over Dean. The rain had stopped overnight, leaving the morning clear. Sam couldn't help but smile. If he were in a Disney movie, he'd probably be singing or whistling right now ( ... )

Perfect! You did a wonderful job with Dean failing to hide his obvious concern about the snake bite, and I loved the twist too - with the snake NOT being poisonous!! The brotherly banter was spot on too.
