At first I thought Alex's dollar store Elvis thing was just a stage persona but now I'm thinking it might be real and the Koons is him. His art pop could be anything.

I seen them live and he totally puts on a show to match this ~persona~ and look. It made more sense to me after that. He is a bit of a snarky asshole but he's actually nice, in my experience.

nah, i agree with the ppl saying it's just a persona. i saw them in 2009 during the humbug tour & he was like an entirely different person back then. he was always snarky af & i always loved that about him, but he was also very introverted and REALLY awkward. i think his current personality is part stage persona, part self-importance.

He's always been an asshole but back then he was more open about how awkward he was. Now it seems like this rockabilly persona~ is his attempt to conceal his insecurities. Idk he's funny and dumb af lol.
