I'm interested in Ludwig. Interesting enough, there's also a detective in Simon R Green's "Nightside" series named John Taylor which is actually really good if you like urban fantasy and supernatural stuff.

I enjoyed Ludwig! And so did my mom! Which is rare, so. I thought it was fun and most of the mysteries were decent and I do really love both David Mitchell and Anna Maxwell Martin, so it was a win for me.

But I want to ask ONTD because y'all are much better at this than I am: has Anna Maxwell Martin done something to her face? I'm almost face blind so it's hard for me to recognize when people have done plastic surgery or whatever, but I've always really loved her face because it is so unusual that I can pretty much always recognize her. Except I spent a lot of Ludwig looking at her and going "is that what she's always looked like???" I had to double check with google that it was her when I started the first episode.

So, ONTD: Has she had work done or has my face blindness gotten worse?

I don’t think I noticed anything different with her face. I like how she has such a unique face too.

i binged all of slow horses, which is the opposite of a cozy mystery but also somehow not depressing?

These shows about small towns with an insane number of murders and crime like… why don’t yall just move? What’s going on in these posh places, incest fucking with your brain?

The 'explanation' I've read is that's it's set in a county and not a village, but then people need to get the hell out of that county!

Big fan of Endeavour, though probably not exactly cozy, but I'm looking for similar murder/mystery series to stream. I'll be checking some of these out, for sure.

Endeavour is almost cozy but it’s just so sad. 😞

Endeavour (the character) is fully just so so sad, but the show is gorgeous
