"The consultant took the boy to a hotel room where he auditioned for Diddy by performing some rap songs. [...] He says he told them what allegedly happened and that they “were terrified of the potential consequences of reporting the abuse.”

This is weird. Was the consultant a part of it? Who was the person that gave him the soda? The consultant and the parents noticed the boy was off and did nothing? Did they at least take him to a hospital? So many negligent adults involved in this, but besides Diddy, the consultant and specially the person who gave him the soda need to be investigated as well. I doubt someone who works in the industry, close enough to get the boy in a room with Diddy, didn't know he was like this. And the parents are terrible. Ugh

Additional info in the suit says the 10 yr old boy, despite being threatened to not tell his parents, did tell his parents what happened anyway. His parents believed him, but they were all (boy plus parents) so afraid of the threats that they feared coming forward. Not dismissing the initial naïveté by parents but I can see Combs making everyone feel terrified and only now do all the victims feel more safe coming forward.

I know this didn't happen until after this poor kid was assaulted, but HE BLEW UP KID CUDI'S CAR after threatening to do so.

I can't be mad at any of the victims or their families that were scared into silence because we now know that they were absolutely in danger.

He's such a psychotic piece of shit. I hate that he's gotten away with it for so long. I hope he suffers and people get justice

A 13 year old girl approached several limo drivers after the 2000 MTV VMAs to try to get into the after parties.

Where the hell are your parents?

This is not to say that their parents shouldn’t have had a closer eye on their kid because they absolutely should’ve-NY kids and teens are built differently, the city is their playground. This reminds me of the 13 y/o girl who died subway surfing the other day and everyone asking where the parents are. Kids and teens carelessly run amuck in the city, oblivious to the dangers that might befall them.

And the 2000 VMAS was at Radio City Music Hall/very much hyped to have kids come down and be part of the crowd outside, similar to TRL
