Yes, we could tell. Same thing happened with Paul Feig when he, as the director of Ghostbusters, had to removed from his own set because he kept giggling too much.

Yeah he seemed to think this was amazing anecdote. He also said he was surprised by how naturally funny Chris Hemsworth was so he let him come up with a few of his own lines…which I suspect he did for a few of the other actors as well.

Christian Bale’s character had so much potential for being cool and scary as hell but then everything else was just too goofy. The Brodinsons are my faves, this movie was such a let down
