She previously had some very loud and wrong opinions about Sophie, so I'm hesitant to believe her here.

Are you referring to how Grimes said it was fucked up for a man to use a female name as a stage name and have people believe that he is a woman? If I recall, that was before Sophie came out as transgender and Grimes apologized, and Grimes and Sophie were friends. I don't think Grimes would have made that comment had she had known that Sophie was transgender.

This reminds me that I've been trying to listen to mostly women on spotify and too many bands have "feminine" band names but are all cis male band members. Wading through them is irritating and finding a cool band name in a genre I love but hitting play to find out it's a shitty guy with vocal fry? Ffs. Stay in your lane, boring men!

Award shows in general are kind of dumb, but I was under the impression that the Grammys were exceptionally bad in terms of who gets nominated and who actually wins. I am actually surprised by how much talk I've seen about them this year.
