Honestly fine with her not being in it. Her character getting to just live a happy life and move on from this shit is the biggest win for her.

GOOD for her! There is no Scream without her - they should have given her whatever she asked for. Her and Jenna Ortega completely held up the garbage that was Scream 5.

This franchise has nowhere to go anyway. They beat the movie self-awareness shtick into the ground instead of finding new and interesting ways to subvert the horror genre.
