I don't watch The Bachelor so I know nothing about this man but I like normalizing men taking control of family planning instead of all the pressure being on women to manage birth control or get their tubes tied which is a far more invasive procedure.

I came here to say this. I dislike that for decades, the onus has always been on women. A vasectomy is minimally invasive (reversible if you change your mind), I wish more men would take the lead on this.

I've talked to my husband about getting a vasectomy but we're giving ourselves 3 more years to decide on kids and if we don't have them, then he'll probably do it.

This should definitely be normalized.

Good for him. Respect to the men who opt for the much easier, much less risky (and reversible!!) procedure of a vasectomy rather than putting the onus of birth control on their partners
