honestly…I just hope the internet doesn’t flip out on Shiloh because they are choosing to go by their birth name and dress femme instead of wearing a tux, going by John and fitting their projected narrative of Shiloh being trans based on their parents’ comments made about their preferences when they were younger.

People where being ridiculous about that, reminds me of a NYTimes article a couple of years ago that a mother wrote about her daughter who would have been considered a tomboy years ago but her gender identity was constantly being questioned by those around her. I think people mostly mean well but they don't see that they're kind of the other side of the same coin as people who won't buy their son a doll. A girl being into trucks or not wanting to wear dresses is often just that, stop reading into shit that isn't there.

I stumbled across this Tumblr a few years ago that linked to an article about a woman whose daughter (like 6) did that. So she cut her hair short & asked her what her "boy" name was and was telling everyone she supported her child changing. The person writing on the Tumblr said that things have gone too far with parents wanting to seem "woke" and supportive of their child.
