It's definitely dairy and I guess humans are animals, but it involves full, informed consent from the human giving milk, which is not true of other mammal milk.

To answer the question, yes - mine tasted great. Until it dried up and got salty and gross. But I mostly know that from trying to unclog my own duct not from filling my morning coffee.
