Girls Planet 999 Final Lineup

Mnet’s audition survival program “Girls Planet 999” came to an end with a live broadcast finale, revealing the final line up for the group.

Mnet also announced during the finale that the new girl group would promote under the name Kep1er (idek). The group will have a 2.5 years contract.

I really hope that Cherry Bullet's company doesn't waste this opportunity. Give them another song like Love So Sweet and ride this momentum!! I'm also pissed that Mnet has allegedly been cutting Tiffany's screen time because she's "too nice" to the trainees.

[Final Line Up]The only change I would make is replace Bahiyyih and Seo YoungEun with with Kim Bora and Yurina. In an ideal world this would be a 12 member group and they'd all be in it. Kim Chaehyun is a good center, but obviously XiaoTing or Yeseo would fit better. I know that a lot of international fans loved Yaning and Ruiqi but I wasn't a big fan of them honestly. I only had eyes for Huang Xing Qiao and Wen Ze lol.

FNC is so incredibly incompetent when it comes to their ggs so I have no faith in them. They should have been putting out some content while the girls were still competing just to keep strumming up interest. I'm hoping maybe they were just waiting for them all to be back before announcing a comeback or something.

The Tiffany cuts has me so annoyed ugh. It wasn't just her being "too nice", she and fans have alluded to them cutting up what's convenient for their editing so even when she gave good constructive criticism they would cut it off. :/ She sounded annoyed when she talked about it recently.

fnc better be preparing a comeback right this second but i read on reddit that the other members are busy this year? they should do a jiwon, bora and may subunit if that's the case

FNC won't capitalize on the momentum until it's too late for cherry bullet...i really do hope they get another comeback sooner than later. love so sweet is one of the most underrated bops of the year!!!

Not Twice being a more global group than this one when the whole point of the show was to market it as global gg.

They had a great chance to use the planet pass to add a "surprise" 10th member and make it another Chinese or Japanese member but didn't. Like that would have been a great opportunity to use it. I kept waiting for it. I know this isn't a Produce 101 show and was just also on MNet but I almost wish they HAD done some rigging somehow welp.

I knew I wouldn't really stan this group so I'm not really that upset over the lineup. I'm just glad Xiaoting made it and very happy to see Mashiro in the lineup. And I know Yujin had her shot at an idol life and all that, but damn if I'm not happy for her as well and was rooting for her the whole time.

i think everyone was expecting the group to be 3 members of each nationality bc of the "global" title, nothing says global like krn votes counting THAT MUCH MORE than int ones

i agree lol. the 50% kvotes thing was poorly planned. i understand the need to have a bigger weight for korean votes but even setting a number, ie each k vote is worth 5 international votes or something would have been better. people in that post did the math and because so many of the votes were international it made the ratio like 1 k vote equals 20 international votes! it was really set up terribly. the more international fans voted in panic, the more power k votes had.

Currently working on an ONTD Original on the statistics/"what if"s of the finals based on this reddit post's work/data, but Korean votes being multiplied by 5 still results in the current lineup.

Yaning would've made it in instead of Dayeon as long as the multiplier is 4x or lower while Sui Ruiqi would've gotten in instead of Yeseo as long as the multipler is 3x or lower. I didn't go into decimal points for multipliers, but it's pretty clear that they overshot the multiplier by a lot if 5x already results in the current lineup let alone 10x.

Sheng Xiaoting going from 1st place to 9th is bullshit and I honestly wish she wasn't in the group at all. I doubt the group's management is going to do right by her either.
