Rami was pretty bad. I don't know if straight up comedy is his calling, even tho I know he started in a sitcom. Bowen killed it as the gay daddy longlegs and gay oompa loompa

Tbh I think they just underutilized him. The skits they cut were funnier than a lot of the other ones that made it to air, and weekend update seemed super long this episode and took up more time (seemed like it, anyway). I remember being surprised because he wasn't in the cold open, then they did the opening credits, his monologue (which I thought was good) and then the first skit didn't even feature him as the main player (the Bowen / spider one). Plus having Daniel Craig show up for multiple skits (which also seemed to sort of push Rami back from being the main actor featured). I think they just made some odd choices for his episode.
