The thing about The Sopranos is that as amazing as it was, it was extremely fucking dark. I don't really see that episode about Tracee for example being okayed in today's climate, if David Chase chooses to maintain the same tone. Breaking Bad looks like Peppa Pig in comparison.

There are about 5 episodes that I skip on every rewatch because I just can't do it again.

Especially the ones about Christopher and Adriana in later seasons. Brutal. Very honest storytelling, but so hard to watch.

I honestly don't think I've seen the 2nd half of "Long Term Parking" since it originally aired.

What they should have done in the first place. I'm over the entire thing but as a series prequel it will probably do really well.

It was okay but it left a lot to be desired; there were a lot of loose ends at the end of the film.

Also, I felt like they were setting it up for [Spoiler (click to open)]Dickie's mistress to be Christopher's mom, especially since Dickie's wife was unable to have children, but then no, she ends up having a kid magically out of nowhere

yeah, your second point confused the hell out of me - idg why they gave so much emphasis to that and then had it turn out to be nothing.

It would've been better as a mini series anyway. The movie was a bit of a let down.
