I mean… she’s not exactly in high demand as an actress is she? These videos are what’s made her ever so slightly relevant again as everyone is crazy about the nostalgia and gossip right now.

I feel like she talks about all this but it seems like her goals were misguided. Her singing competition was Katy Perry and her acting rival was Anne Hathaway when in reality her competition was always Emmy Rossum.

They were both disney channel stars around the same time, Emmy did phantom of the opera the movie and Christy did Beauty and the beast broadway play (i think that was it). Emmy seems more like her competition than Anne, imo.

I only watched one of her videos (The Naco one) but I’ve passed by these posts about her and she seems really kinda resentful of her career trajectory to the point of obsession. It’s really weird to watch.

i imagine all the disney stars that weren't the mainstars of their tv shows are all pretty resentful, or at least having a hard time, with their current career paths. it's gotta be hard to grow up on famous shows, peak, and then go stagnant if not completely drop. especially while watching every leading actor on disney get record deals no matter how bad their singing voice is.

People walk and talk on video all the time on Theme Park Youtube.

I guess her next video will be "Why I'll NEVER go into a THEME PARK again!" and it's 15 minutes. At the end, she goes "Because everyone who has ever recorded in a theme park STOLE my FORMAT."

People even do the walk and talk in parks and nature, this isn't reinventing the wheel that she's doing. There's a thirty minute + philosophy tube video that has millions of views that was just walking in a nature preserve and talking.
