Yikes. This week kinda felt a bit messy. I wasn't totally displeased but parts certainly fell flat

Cane's back on Y&R? THAT'S who they chose to replace Billy Miller after his last replacement? Eric is still alive? Damn, I did quit the show forever ago. (How old is Faith now? In college, I'm guessing?)

The guy Billy is talking to at the end of the clip is Adam. And Faith is in high school. I quit this show too, but I like checking in occasionally on what’s going on LOL

I have been off of Y&R since Josh Griffith took over. Didn't Faith also have a drinking problem?

Josh's stint with Michael Malone on "One Life to Live" in the early 90s was pretty iconic and I loved "Sunset Beach" (which he co-created) but it seems all his soap writing in the 21st Century hasn't been all that good. Still not over how truly dark and truly awful his stint at DOOL in 2015-2016 was.

Mostly just want to say I agree with all of OP's comments under the Days promo!

I always preferred Kate Mansi in the role of Abigail. Marci always feels a little too cold/stiff (although she got to be a little playful on Friday and maybe being in Johnny's movie will liven her up more).

I was also all in for "Chill" back in the day. Wish they would have explored that!

I feel like Days was slow this week, but I had fun explaining everything to my friend who was visiting, lol. Especially the possession storyline.

Rumor has it that Maura West didn’t feel comfortable taping with the unvaccinated scientologist Marcus Coloma.

I miss Tyler Christopher and I hope he’s doing well with his recovery, I doubt the studio would take the chance and bring him back given the sad way he left Days, but Marcus is so miscast that I don’t see myself warming up to his version of Nikolas.

That totally makes sense! Disappointed to hear that about Marcus.
I've seen people saying a good way to see who's vaccinated is to judge how far Nancy Grahn stands away from them. BTS at GH has always seemed messy but especially now with the anti-vaxxers on set....oh boy...

I hope Tyler Christopher is doing better now too. While I've grown to prefer Brandon Barash as Stefan/Jake on DOOL, I loved him on DOOL. His Nikolas is sorely missed. I kept hoping Marcus would grow into the role but...I think that by now it's safe to say that won't be happening.
Though if both Sean Kanan (despite how shitty they treated AJ) and Bryan Datillo could be welcomed back to their respective soaps, I hope the same can happen for Tyler as well.

I’m still sooooo mad about how royally they fucked up AJ/Sean’s return. I wanted Michael to reconcile with him and embrace his Q side so bad. I don’t know what I expected since the Mob runs the ship.

UGH. Don't even get me started. I remember they teased us will a little bit of an angry Michael lashing out at Sonny but it was quickly over and the two made amends way too quickly.

Everyone kissing psycho Nina's ass and trying to justify what she did is wild to me. I'm gonna stop watching if they make Sonny get together with her because I can't. She disgusts me.

The whole fallout from this has been so uneven. I definitely like we're going to be getting some sort of a love pentagon with Nina-Sonny-Carly-Jason-Britt (maybe a hexagon if they throw Jax back in the mix with Nina)).
The writers did a whole lot of juggling and positioning to get the characters in these positions, I can't imagine they're not going to try and milk more drama out of it.

She really does. It feels like a bit of a monkey's paw situation. I'm glad to have Britt back but they've given her a ticking time-bomb of a degenerative condition and a dead-end pairing with Jason. It's been refreshing to see her not rushing to him have him help her with Liesl/Peter but I feel like that's only going to last for so long before the writers insert him into that story too.

So watching my Queen Laura Wright go IN on Cynthia Watros was amazing and I loved it... but there was one thing that had me going "say what?"

Carly was all "DON'T SAY MY SON'S NAME!!!" and I said "Carlybabes, you know I love you, but she didn't say Morgan's name!" I wonder if Laura screwed up the line and added "son's name" when it should have been something like "don't bring up my son."

Not that we don't know Morgan's alive, obviously. Because we know he is. I always thought that Cyrus had him in one of the Vermont assisted living facilities. I found it odd that he said he "knew of several" when he was talking about his mother. Sure, he could have done his research, but the writer in me would have had Morgan at one of them.

In addition to being disappointed that the confrontation between the two was relatively short, I was also disappointed that Jason came in when he did. Just as the two were really getting into the groove on the scenes. Let these two soap icons strut their stuff a bit more!

Hopefully we'll get some more of LW goodness with her scenes with Sonny this week.

Oh totally, I don't doubt that Morgan will be revealed as alive someday. For a while I think they were waiting for Bryan Craig to come back and were probably hoping it'd be sooner rather than later. But since I don't see THAT happening since he seems truly well and done with daytime, I wonder how long it will be before he's back as a recast.
