I literally just finished watching. Fucking Nate! Ted has never been anything but kind to that conniving little shit.

I still really, really hate the Sam and Rebecca thing, and that NO ONE thinks it’s a bad thing.

Hello Ted, this is Trent Crimm

The Independent

was hilarious.

I love that even when he texts, Trent Crimm still sounds exactly the same as when he's actually speaking aloud.

I was glad to see that when Nate complained about how Ted would get the credit for his idea and asked the others if they ever wanted to be in charge, both Beard and Roy were like uh, no.

I loved that thing Beard said about the socialist trees.

Nate is a snake. And a gross piece a shit trying to kiss Keeley.

Sam and Rebecca is making me uncomfortable, stop! Ted is the kind of person to at least go, “oh, he’s a lot younger than you,” or “you’re his boss.” The fact that he didn’t tells me it’s lights out on anyone having a problem with their relationship.

I hope Keeley and Roy aren’t heading to a break up. Either they separate or this affirms their relationship and they get married. Also, Roy sounds kinda like male Marge Simpson and sometimes it’s distracting.

Who titties is Phoebe seeing to always draw them?

I can't decide if Nate tried to kiss Keeley because

(1) she is the only female who has been nice to him and she was in physical proximity to him

(2) he actually thought he had a shot after she said he looked hot

(3) it was part of his plan to wreck the entire coaching team and he thought either Keeley would tell Roy which would throw Roy off his game/cause Roy to punch him which would cause bad publicity for Roy OR Keeley wouldn't tell Roy which would mean that Nate could reveal it later to upset Roy and sabotage their relationship due to Keeley keeping it a secret

(4) this is a very subconscious Rayanne Graff desire to be Roy Kent so after putting on an all black suit (emulating Roy's wardrobe), his next step was trying to have Roy's girlfriend

Nate thought he had a chance because Keeley is consistently nice to him and because she’d been “complaining” about Roy ten minutes before. He must have thought she was signaling relationship problems and that he could swoop in and steal her from Roy. He’s a weirdo.

this is why I have to be cold and impersonal to guys I don't know very well because any bit of kindness or politeness is often misconstrued and then they get angry at me for leading them on, and being a tease. Nate is basically an incel/red-piller.

Nate betrayed Ted in all the worst ways possible. He humiliated him publicly, he exposed a deeply personal secret, and he did it to someone who had shown him nothing but kindness, trust, and generosity.

But I absolutely loved that Trent Crimm told Ted that it was Nate who ratted him out to the paper.

I legit gasped when Trent revealed the source. That Trent Crimm from the Independent is a real one!

When the "as someone who respects you" part came on I got weirdly choked up (and utterly pissed when "my source was Nate" came next).

I was so disappointed that Dr. Sharon didn't get to see the team perform their awesome dance. They were so proud of themselves!

There is speculation that Rupert hired the alleged Ghanian billionaire (that he is an actor/fake) to buy Sam's contract so he would no longer play for Richmond.

Idk about that but the show has dropped the ball on the power dynamics with Sam and Rebecca.

I liked Dr. Sharon and Ted's scenes together (army man in the drink!) and loved Bye Bye Bye.

Hate they've turned Nate into some twisted embodiment of toxic masculinity - and kissing ( sexual assault of? ) Keeley. I never saw Roy and Keeley as endgame so if they break up I won't cry.

Weird season but really well acted by everyone.

I originally thought that we were going to see the billionaire walk away from Sam and get a phone call from Rupert who would be revealed to be the real owner of the new team.

I hate what they've done to Nate too. Seeing him gain confidence last season was lovely. So far I've loved what the writers have done with the characters and the whole cast + writers seem tight, so I hope that they get it right and/or Nick Mohammed is on board with it.

I loved Nate's journey in the first season too! I agree and the writers have a difficult job I think taking Nate to the edge but not pushing past it. I mean Nate has gone too far but...he may redeem himself? Delicate balance!

Nick has been absolutely phenomenal and should get a best supporting actor nod. From his inst/twitter that others posted here it seems he's on board and also like he's having fun. 😋
