i do think denzel is the frontrunner for best actor at this early point. performance is universally loved, hes universally loved, hes overdue for his 3rd, and its fucking macbeth!! seems like an easy choice here. i think will smith only beats him out if king richard is a huge hit. benny will have his nomination as a win since the film will be honored elsewhere (kiki).

id say the same for frances had she not won last year.

Did anyone watch the Fassbender/Cotillard one from a couple of years back? Was that one any good? Feels so soon to have another adaptation though I'd obviously take Denzel over Fassy any day
