I'm a little confused too. She was justifiably angry and protective of her and the squad, called them out at their own game to make them look hilariously foolish, but ultimately respected that Torrance was also angry and knew it was wrong and wanted to make it right. Maybe it's more fleshed out in the article and I'll need to read it.

There could've been a bit more. Like Isis should've been allowed a speech like when they won during the interview about cultural appropriation or what have you. The movie just ends with The Clovers winning and then goes straight in to "Hey Mickey". The Torros don't get stripped of their original trophies or anything like that. No one outside the two teams know The Torros have been stealing their routines. (the game doesn't really count because the audience just seemed confused)

I want it, this sounds great. They just need a young crowd pleaser ringer like Eliza Dushku was, great choreography, and this could be an update that makes itself iconic for a new generation.

Great idea tbh, theres something like this in Save the Last Dance where all the black women kind of come off as really angry and spiteful towards Julia Stiles but now that im older and have interacted with white women im like...there definitely couldve been a more nuanced take on how that dynamic is addressed

Is this true: I thought the Clovers had bigger roles but their scenes were cut

I've read in multiple places that Gabrielle's character had a love interest originally, so I'd assume she had more to do than we saw
