I've watched the first four episodes and will watch the rest tomorrow. So far The Duel is my fav, its visually so beautiful with the pops of color and Tatooine Rhapsody is my least fav.

I love that out of the four episodes two of the villains have been women.

I need help solving a debate about this show from someone who has seen it. My partner is VERY into anime but not Star Wars, I love Star Wars but don't enjoy a lot of anime. Where does this show fall?

I'm in your camp and I liked it well enough BUT the one episode I watched was by a studio whose work I know I like so...

I say, enjoy something together that taps into both of your interests. You’ll get a Star Wars kick (and really, it’s no different than watching any other Star Wars related animation), and he’ll get an excellent showcase of different anime creators and studios, and their styles. Win/Win, balanced and right in the center for both of you. Also it’s a really smart production in that it’s fine for the casual viewer of Star Wars (or anyone who knows the basic lore) and also for the die hard fan that knows more about the characters and storylines.

Considering how much George Lucas took from Japanese storytelling, it's about time.

Fact. Huge credits to Akira Kurosawa and The Hidden Fortress. More people better appreciate and respect!

How’s the anime so far? I haven’t seen it yet

i'm so excited to watch this soon!! not super into star wars but i think the universe has a lot of great potential for storytelling and i love how this seems to have a lot of variety.

i'm still mad the sequels were so blah and focused way too much on kylo ren who was the worst!!! the new trio were great and so wasted.
