Good for her. I know it sounds silly, but it’s still kind of hard for me to correct people when they pronounce my (last) name wrong. Idk why but it’s just ingrained in us that we’re bothering people when we correct them. I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels that way.

I spell it Effy instead of Effie and had a prof (who I had in the spring so he knows me!) reply to an email to Effie

The funniest part is I think I like that better and am seriously considering switching the spelling lol
