I think everyone is obsessed with Felix's duality lol, he looks like an elf while having a voice deeper than the mariana trench. And he really is so adorable off stage!
I’m obsessed. I fallen down the black hole and I’m never getting out and that’s OK because I love it down here. I randomly clicked on the god’s menu relay dance one day a few months ago and my life has never been the same. Now I bought three copies of the same album, some thing I swore I would never do, but I didn’t pull any hyunjin photo cards in my first one so I had to buy two more
Lol I actually loved both God's Menu and Back Door last year, and before that I was kinda into Side Effects as well but I didn't really become a stan. However in recent weeks I've really fallen into stanning them, to the point of actually watching Kingdom bc they were on it (it was good tbh!!!) and now I'm kicking myself for not ordering their album with my NCT Sticker album order lol (I need to get them from abroad so I need to be strategic to save on shipping...)
Something I learned through experience if you want just THAT one album, go through a place like choice music or something. Shipping is pretty low tho item price is pretty high, but for one item (or two) the price is better. Ktown overcharges with shipping, but it’s the best bet when bulk ordering a bunch of albums. But I need to get Inlife. I wasn’t overly fond of the latest album, but I need to get an A.C.E album from last year too so I may just get inlife and that one through Choice.
Its awful nice to see a group be given the opportunity to push the envelope and explore some more interesting concepts, through music and videos they pretty much come up with all by themselves. I love the other unit songs too, such a wide range of cool stuff being created.
I just would really, really like to see the full choreography for this. I'm willing to beg if at all necessary. That bit near the end where they seem to be pulled to each other like magnets is just so amazing.
(If it wasn't clear, yep I'm in deep. Came in for the music and the laughs, definitely stayed for my man Changbin.)
It’s sort of my theory that JYP didn’t really expect SKZ to succeed. Bang Chan had been a trainee for 8 years and it feels like the company was like ‘okay, he’ll debut, we’ll give him a group” but basically threw them to the wolves which is why they’re able to have such a heavy hand in producing/writing/composing. Like even JYP is scared to hand over music face to face because they can turn him down.
But sort of being left to it has allowed them to push that envelope and experiment where other groups weren’t able to.
And changbin is probably my bias. He looks like he could beat someone up but is so sweet and cute.
They really feel like JYP is running an experiment and adjusting as he sees what works and what doesn't. Like he's trying a different tack after things didn't work out as expected with GOT7. I was shocked by how long Bang Chan was a trainee, it can't have been easy, but it also gave him time to develop into a good producer, which is really interesting.
Changbin is such a funny dude, I enjoy him as a rapper and his more sentimental songs are so good.
Tbh I've been a kpop stan for ten years and I've never liked JYP groups bc their music was awful tbh, with the exception of a handful of Twice songs. But skz noise had me hooked, especially Double Knot https://youtu.be/UWoyeuwj9c0

Sigh...there's always something wrong with decent looking men, isnt there...we can just never have anything..aite I'll reluctantly cover his face with my thumb if he on the screen too long then. but I'll admit I'll still peek a lil bit. like just one lil look and then I'll move it back I swear
agreed, it's been hard to get back into them since then. On the fandom side, it was jarring especially because the fandom essentially destroyed Woojin over allegations that have since been proven false, but with Hyunjin, who self-admitted his faults and faced suspension over it, it's UWU HE WAS JUST A BB, THIS IS INJUSTICE, JYP SUCKS. I like stanning but stanning alongside children is exhausting!
