Actress Kelly Marie Tran made an appearance at Rise’s Survivor Fashion Show during NYFW: The Shows at Museum of Modern Art on Friday (September 10) in New York City.
Rise is a non-profit that protects and supports sexual assault survivor rights, founded by Amanda Nguyen. The foundation has helped to pass 42 laws federally and are broadening their scope globally in hosting survivor town halls at the United Nations and meeting with the Vatican.
