Maybe the charismatic part could’ve been the writing as I felt his friend was the punch line, funny character for the film but could’ve been too for two!

to be honest i don't think that's his fault really. i've seen shang chi twice now (I genuinely loved it) and he's given the least to do amongst the entire cast. That being said when paired with Awkwafina who oozes charm, and Tony Leung who is just an undeniable screen presence, it's gonna be hard for anyone to stand out.

As much as I loved Shang Chi and Simu; Tony completely stole the movie (which was to be expected cause he's Tony Leung)
That being said, I think Simu did better than most MCU lead but watch him being held to a higher standard of acting than the army of bland Chris

I loved Shang Chi and love Simu Liu.

I think he has an easy charisma honestly. He just seems chill and like he'd be fun to hang out with. And he's wild hot.
