Two little lines about my Canadian Princess? That's it, OP? You hurt me! 😘

Anyway, I'm excited for the final, though I'll probably be asleep. Since my Canadian had the harder draw, and because she's Canadian, I shall be rooting for her. But it's a win/win anyway.

I wanted to put more about her, but shamefully most of the news I've read is on the British side so it's all focused on Emma so I know less about her than I should (besides her amazing run obvs).

Raducanu was born in Toronto, so she has a Canada connection, too!

I just learned that! An all-Canadian Grand Slam. Who would have thought?

Buzzing for this final. I desperately want Raducanu to win, but it’d be difficult to get mad about Fernandez winning it. I haven’t seen her play yet, so I’m excited to see how it plays out. Raducanu has been so great to watch, I love how quickly she gets the job done.

I'm the same. I want Raducanu to win, but Fernandez's run has been SO impressive, she absolutely deserves to win it too.

It's the opposite for me. I haven't watched Raducanu play, but I've watched Fernandez and she seems so confident on court, and I love the way she plays, it's very impressive, specially since she's just turned 19. I think that whoever wins is still a win-win, they both deserve it.

I heard (from Raducanus interview after winning the other day) that Fernandez was passing out cupcakes to everyone to celebrate her birthday and that was pretty adorable.

I want Fernandez to win, she’s had the harder draw and her composure is impressive. She’s made Canada so proud 🥺
