Lol she is a garden-variety rich dim sociopath. I know people who worked for her.

I can’t believe Disney is going to potentially fuck up its most successful franchise because they decided to be greedy pricks.

honestly I think it could have made a billion dollars worldwide. black widow is one of the most popular and well known MCU heroes, she's been around since phase one, has been in every avenger movie, etc. and it got just as good of reviews as captain marvel did

Brie Larson had a lot of nerds fomenting outrage about her before Captain Marvel was even out. I wouldn't be surprised if BW did a comparable number without the internet hate machine.

Yeah, I think we underestimate her because we don't like her lol, people generally like her, wasn't Lucy like a huge success? She was the only big name in that.

The same thing went through my mind. BW could have reached the 500M mark if Covid had never happened but i don't believe they could've done the 1 billion mark

I think it could have done 700 million tops. She’s dead and people would have gone out of curiosity to see if they pulled a Fast and Furious and brought her back to life but the word of mouth would have gotten out that this was a prequel and more of a family film and people would be like: what is the point?

I for one was whatever about it mostly cuz I still think it should have been Hawkeye and whenever I think about it I get pressed again so I’m not even gonna bother myself with this.

It really should have been Hawkeye. Killing off the lone female avenger really affected my interest in Marvel : (

The deal, as pitched, would pay Ms. Johansson a total of $100 million for the movie, including her $20 million salary. It was an eye-popping sum, but her team saw it as a starting point. Disney never responded with a counteroffer ( ... )
