Maybe it wasn't that easy (gaining assurances that banks wouldn't fuck around with payment bc '~it came from a site made for porn~'), but I doubt they exhausted every option before their "ban" announcement.

I definitely see where you're coming from but there's this part of me that just wants to know why they'd even try it after Tumblr without exhausting their options first
Also idk find the banks that other porn sites use, we're definitely not going to hear about PornHub closing down because they can't put up sexually explicit videos anymore.

I can see that they really don't want to be a porn site but unfortunately that's what they're going to be and they need to just get over it and support their creators who are lining their pockets.

I'm wondering if the ban announcement was actually just a way to get themselves a bunch of free advertisement.

I have so many thoughts on this and each one pisses me off to a different degree lol
