i love the national and bon iver because i'm basic like that. aaron was a really refreshing change for taylor too, and he even works well with jack, so folklore/evermore is always gonna be the peak taylor albums for me. i really enjoyed the ghost of cincinnati more than the other songs BRM released, bravo for encouraging aaron to take lead for once.

i've been a fan of Anaïs Mitchell for almost 2 decades and because I don't know what those dots over the I mean, I've been pronouncing her name wrong the whole time. embarrassing. this is what happens when you don't have actual people to talk to about the artists you like, and you're southern and everyone is named Virginia Catherine or Thomas John Phillip III

By « how he found his voice » do they mean « how he became popular to young people because he was an established musician way before Taylor

I think they're possibly referring to him stepping up with lead vocals on the new album, since the article speaks a fair bit on that from him, Justin Vernon, and Anaïs Mitchell. But it could be a double entendre!
