this has nothing to do with sebastian stan bc wasn’t he always traveling? idk i could be confusing him but it’s interesting to me how many people who were very pro-lockdown/“now isn’t the time for concerts/tour” etc are suddenly totally okay with traveling and going on tour.

like i remember kelsea ballerini calling out some country singer for performing a year ago and now she’s going on tour and talking about all the cities she’ll be in. i guess i get that life needs to move on but at the same time aren’t cases on the rise and things are looking worse and worse? maybe i’m misinformed but is it not time to start canceling things again? idk ontd someone bring me up to speed on what we should/shouldn’t be doing bc i just never leave my house except for work anyway so what do i know

when I moved out of my parent's house last summer and mentioned it to a couple people I got a whole earful about how irresponsible I was being because my move wasn't "essential", and they've of course since gone on all kinds of trips. a lot of people just weren't thinking rationally back then so it stands to reason they're not acting all that rationally now!

I don’t understand the push to stay locked down. Staying locked down until the vaccine made sense, but now we have the vaccine. Covid was never going to be eradicated. The goal was to just get to a point where there’s a vaccine that prevents people from dying. They’re not working on a way of eliminating covid so what do people want? Eternal lockdown?

I have kids too young to be vaccinated, so I don’t feel comfortable going to concerts or restaurants or going on planes. But I don’t expect every childless person to stay isolated for years until there’s a vaccine for all ages.
