The entire fucking cast of The Lord of the Rings. Literally all of them. Superb. You can argue with me but you will lose. Most of all Viggo and Elijah as Aragorn and Frodo. And Ian as Gandalf. Also Sean as precious Samwise........ You get my point :)

I definitely agree with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, too. He really embodied that character pretty damn flawlessly. Catch me absolutely UGLY sobbing every single time I watch Logan. Which has been way too much.

I think I read somewhere once that Christopher Lee auditioned for Gandalf? I just can't see it now after watching those movies a billion times, haha.

He did but was considered “too old” at the time.

Yup. Christopher Lee was a huge LOTR/Tolkien fan and had the blessing of his son or grandson (I forget which) to play Gandalf. Peter Jackson felt he was too old and went with Ian. Fun fact, he drove the cast and crew nuts because since he was such a big fan, he would correct them because wanted to make sure they did everything the way Tolkien wrote it.
