mte - I remember the post on their separation and was worried it was, didn't she get a restraining order against him?

Going through that Brendan Fraser post makes me think of Christina in that same bracket - like they're both actors who showed up throughout my childhood, seem like they're good people and I wish them nothing but goodwill in their lives.

TMZ says her divorce was finalized three weeks ago (she's also working in Canada for a few more months, and the restraining order's been extended until at least January, when they'll discuss it again).

Same. Her other long time ex is like a full on alt-right q-anon nutcase. Hopefully she stepped up her game with this new guy.

lmao, i got a whole bunch of downvotes when i said my wife will be 50 when we have a child. a lot of people dislike the idea of a child being wanted and cared for.

Good for you and your wife!

People have concerns about the child's life caring for elderly parents in their 20s and everything related to having "older" parents, having to decide if/when parents go to long term care, not having much of an adult relationship with them if they do die in their 70s etc. I'm not saying that should trump having the kid though, and there are ways to mitigate that responsibility, like having proper insurance, living wills, financial stability etc, which I'm sure you've already thought of.

I commend you for being sure about having kids then having them when you were actually ready.

Cute! So excited for her! As weird as it is to think, I always like seeing people older than me having kids - even though we don’t want any, it makes me feel better about being older if we ever change our minds.

agreed! the fact that Meghan Markle had two in her late 30's is just an inspiration.

Same. I was starting to try for a kid last year before the pandemic hit, and I don't feel comfortable trying again (for multiple reasons) until at least next year. Makes me feel better and feel less alone!
