I’m so hard on her when it comes to all these delays but the more she speaks about her fifth harmony experience, the more sympathetic I am towards her because it probably adds to the pressure of being a solo artist. I didn’t know she didn’t get to sing in fifth harmony, that must have sucked.
tbh I wish her collabs with Calvin Harris went somewhere bc they were so good
Wild Side still isn't it for me and I'm sad to see it free falling. But I hope her team just pushes forward with another song. She's gonna need to pull a Rihanna and just release regularly to get her name out there.
Honestly while I think kpop is too fast paced I agree with how some things are made, for example the several releases (there are groups that make album, repackage, mini album, etc per year), something has to stick and if it doesn't at least you will make more people interested in you/build a fandom, Normani has everything to succeed but she needs to release more things!
Also she should be making live performances, she needs to be in the VMAs or something with good exposure
true. I just think about the Rihanna model. In hindsight, her doing yearly releases was smart and solidified her place in pop music. IF she decides to release music again, it will smash tbh.
