It’s definitely a thing. I was speaking about this only recently with my best friend. She is scheduled to have a c-section, due to the fact that her first child caused too much physical damage. She knows that giving birth naturally will make things even worse than they were the first time and the first time was terrible.

People have been shaming her for it, calling her lazy etc. I don’t get it.

Not only that, but she suffered from terrible depression after giving birth and her physical health only made things worse. I went with her to multiple doctors and multiple hospitals. It took about 2 years for a doctor to finally take her seriously and do something about it. She had to have surgery to fix everything. It was a terrible experience and doctors have told her she needs a c-section, but people act like she just chose to have one on a lazy whim.

The recovery for c-section is much more difficult so I don’t know where people get off calling her lazy

I have pcos and it sucks, I’ve had two ovarian cysts and my last one in 2017 I had my right ovary taken out because they found fibrous tumors ( they were non cancerous)

Some mothers will shame mums for everything. Usually the same people that turn their entire identity into "mumsie"/"mother of two blessings"/"creator of life"/"mommabear".

I for one appreciate those monikers since they let me know up front the type of women I need to stay the fuck away from.

It sucks because mothers should understand how challenging motherhood can be and be more sympathetic to others

lol as predicted she'll absolutely reinvent herself as a mommy blogger and we're somehow supposed to care bc she's speaking on things that I'm sure far better women have spoken about but aren't given a platform like hers.

Fuck this racist.

it'll be forgotten so fast. sadly, we got 50/50 on it being forgotten before the end of the post. she hurt, and tried to damage careers of black women.

Yeah, boo fucking hoo. This is such a blatant attempt to try to uncancel herself by getting sympathy. I don’t give a shit about her feelings about anything, she certainly doesn’t give a shit about the feelings of others.

PCOS sucks. I was diagnosed with it some years back.

People will find any reason to shame women. A c-section is nothing to be ashamed of yet I've seen other moms talk down on women who've had them.
