This is being released weekly in the UK and I was honestly screaming at the end of the episode this week (Season 2, Episode 7). I didn’t think it would be quite so graphic.
I’m having such a hard time getting through season 2. it didn’t help that I took a break to watch Young Royals and now I feel like everything will pale in comparison.
I watched the first and the last ep and it was surprisingly good. The most fascinating thing is seeing actors the same age range as their character and the prince's imperfect skin. The show gets a 10 for believable looking actors.
Yes, the two leads are straight (even though Michael has been sort of vague or hinting at discovering himself in some interviews) but overall I think the show is well intentioned and nice for young people that are out there trying to make sense of their identity and sexuality. That said I did like that the second season was less safe and not so “after school special” feeling, but some of the writing was weird…like Mia resenting her father for scoring such a huge and groundbreaking position therefor making him a bit of a villain made no sense and she just came off as bratty the whole season and Victor and the new love interest happened way too fast.

Can't wait. This will be my guilty pleasure for a couple of years now with Dash and Lily.
