I get why people like these shows but I start losing enjoyment when it becomes clear that the winners rarely amount to much outside of the competition.

literally the only two i can name are christina grimmie bc she was sadly murdered and dia frampton bc she was in an article somewhat recently talking about how she was working at some random food shop as a server in LA after the voice. other than that i remember some people by their first name from the first few seasons ("amanda", "vicky" maybe? and "cassandra" i think, the one who was like the daughter of someone who did fueled by ramen right...?), and i think i watched at least the first 5 or 6 seasons. i don't even remember any of the winners tbh. i dont think it helps that this show has had 21 seasons since it started (in 2011 or 2012 right?). everyone feels so disposable
