Today EXO member D.O. finally releases his debut solo album. Accompanied with the album is a music video for "Rose". The album counts 8 songs in total, including an English version of "Rose" and a song in Spanish.

The MV was too happy for me this morning, I had to wait to finish the video at work after some coffee lol.

I do like "I'm Gonna Love You" off the album but other than that 🤷‍♀️ it's fine. He sounds good.

the "rose" song and mv are boring as hell, it's not even bad to be memorable/memeable... anyone could have sung this. what a waste of vocals. on the positive side, this is the stuff korea likes, so maybe it will smash there.

i just listened to the album and "i'm gonna love you" is the standout; it's not saying much because it sounds unfinished lol. d.o, come on. as a latinamerican, i appreciate the song in spanish, it's cute.

Before anyone complains... this is the music he likes and the music he wants to make.
No one was going to make him do something he didnt enjoy.

The album made me cry like a bitch, specially when I read the english translation to some of them.
"Si Fueras Mia" is everything!! His accent is soo natural ahhh i love it!!!!!

Disappointed tbh. he's not even promoting, so not sure he did it for the charts. these songs usually do well, but from digimons, so its not charting well on korean charts.
i wish soloists were more experimental with their music

I'm surprised it's not charting well bc this is very coffee shop in seoul vibe. I also do wish SM artists would branch out with their solos. Like Kai, Baek and Yunho were really interesting and then the rest is like...whelming. I hope Seulgi brings something fresh.
