Season 2 wasn’t in the… that’s something that just came out.

IDKW, but this is making me laugh.

Since season 2 will most likely come out in 2023, hopefully they have enough time to not fuck it up, like some shows that got an unnecessary season 2.

Hmmmmmmm.

Well, hopefully whoever writes and directs s2 learns from the scenes that dragged in s1.

It won't happen but I hope the staff bands together behind the scenes because if anything I bet Herron was burned out. Disney is a POS for ditching showrunners so they can save money, and I feel like many workers start to go "fuck it, put it in post" and we get story arcs that are lethargic as they are.

At least this 2nd season will have a overall purpose compared to other limited series just getting additional seasons when they have no idea what to do with the story.

Id be highly surprised if it didnt lead to something. Thus far there has been no Marvel project thats been part of the official "continuity" (Hulu/ABC/Freeform/Netflix shows have been practically declared "unofficial") that isn't a glorified TBC to a film.

Can we all just acknowledge that Loki was bad other than the visual design (which was a tad overrated but quite nice), Mbatha-Raw (made a character with the thinnest writing into something via her acting choices), and…sigh…Cumboob (effective actor, as much as it hurts me to admit it). It was frequently boring and made not a lick of sense. The romantic plot was DOA because they had no chemistry. The action was limp.

shows and movies nowadays love developing the plot as it progresses so i'm not surprised that it turned out weak af but i always assumed that these shows were meant to set up the movies so Loki was pretty much at expectations for me, whereas WandaVision surprised me w the format, and TFATWS underwhelmed cuz it was standard action and didn't add anything substantive to the mcu

IMO WandaVision will probably not be surpassed in Mcu tv. The fact that people gave the slightest shit about it when it starred a woman, playing a second-tier X-person, in a high-concept sitcom-inspired psychodrama ALONE is…magnificent. Yes it was the first mcu content in ages but even adjusting for that it showed out. They’re not going to pull that off twice, especially once the Gen whatever movies start emitting their immense gravitational pull.

Mbbathaw-Raw in the finale was amazing and I want to follow Rennslayer. Nothing like a desperate devotee struggling for meaning in the aftermath.

of all the shows, TFATWS was the blandest so I don't understand a second season unless Cap America is moving to tv format rather than movie. was never a fan of Bucky but I like Sam

I wished there was a way to give Wanda a second season. Marvel seems to love to shove female characters to the side. the only main heroes rn are Cap Marvel and possibly Wanda and I can see them sidelining her after she serves her purpose in Dr Strange 2

Captain America 4 movie with Sam as lead was already announced.

I don't see a problem with giving Wanda another go at it but her journey is bound for Multiverse of Madness for the time being and then we'll see where it goes from there. And if she gets another run it'll be another show entirely cause the concept of WandaVision was working so well because it was a complete story. You can't repeat that for a season two.
