It's been a few days since the Euros Final on Sunday during which England lost to Italy on penalties. Although the team were praised for their bravery and performance throughout the tournament, the Black players were unfortunately the recipients of much racial abuse and taunts. Thankfully, there has also been an immense outpouring of love to counteract this. Here are a few updates:
1. 19-year-old Bukayo Saka, who missed a penalty on Sunday, released a statement on Twitter after being racially abused following the match, thanking everyone for their support:

3. Tyrone Mings calls out Priti Patel (UK politician, Home Secretary) who refused to condemn the English fans/spectators who booed the players for taking the knee:
You don’t get to stoke the fire at the beginning of the tournament by labelling our anti-racism message as ‘Gesture Politics’ & then pretend to be disgusted when the very thing we’re campaigning against, happens.
