Happy 3rd birthday to Kulture, the adorable bb of Cardi B and her fuckboy Offset. They threw her an extravagant luxury party complete with horse-drawn carriages, four Disney princesses, a ballroom with a castle, and, um, a $150,000 diamond-encrusted choker made by renowned designer Eliante.

Having that kind of money is just like.... outside my ability to imagine for myself. lmao.

Like I can use my imagination and fantasize about having the kind of money that is like 'first class on international flights' kind of money. But like, having 'giving a toddler a $150K necklace' kind of money is just outside my comprehension.

It's stuff like this I don't like. Like, it's sad that Offset was basically able to buy Cardi's love after all he's done to her. Flashy stuff like this is more for the parent than the kid. It really is about flexing. No kid her age knows what to do with jewelry like that. Shit, even I don't. I don't know if I'm just ranting for nothing, but it just doesn't sit well with me. Most kids her age would of course love the princess theme and quality time and attachment with parents, but stuff like this? C'mon! I do think Kulture is adorable, and I just hope Cardi flowers her and her second child with love. I really wish she dropped Offset. I wouldn't be surprised if this was all Offset. I've seen too many deadbeat dads giving their young children jewelry like that to make up for being a shitty partner/parent. I think Future once did that and gave a flashy Rolex to his 5-year-old at the time.

I don’t think I could sleep at night. I would feel so guilty/worried
I couldn’t sleep after buying my iPhone, thinking to myself, ‘What have I done?!’

I would go off on a rant about how disgusting flex culture is and how rich people are literally the worst, but I’m just gonna sit here and eat my food. Kulture’s a cute kid, that’s all I got tonight.

I just... don't understand flex culture? Why is it a thing? Why are people... the way they are?

It’s always existed, but social media has made it a million times worse. I just imagine of all these people who are going to be potentially broke in the future and looking back at their ridiculous SM posts. A friend of mine spent $1,800 on her kid’s first b-day and regrets it so badly even 10 years on

This whole trend of throwing toddlers over-the-top birthday parties with catering, professional photographers, booked venues and shit is so wild to me. My siblings and their friends do this (and they're just regular people lol) and I'm sitting here being all like whyyyy. Put that money away in your kids college fund or something.

I’m fine with it, she has the money so why not. Also I’m sure that necklace will stay with her daughter forever. Unless Cardi’s money (eventually) dries up and she has to pawn it for the cash.

Because it’s foul behavior, that’s why not. The same people clapping for her will shit on conspicuous consumption from billionaires and even less wealthy people like influencers flying too much. The same principles apply.

do you know anything about diamonds?
tbh i judge normal-amounts-of-money folks who have diamond wedding rings.

I have this ridiculous fear that someone would propose to me with a diamond and I remind myself I have to make it clear to my partner that I want something else (in fact I'd like something blue).

I mean, I'm on my merry way to being a single dog lady and never had a bf or gf but still, so scared of diamonds lmao.

I hope that necklace is stored in a safety deposit box in a bank

That only her daughter has key to hidden in a very detailed dollhouse replica of their house that her parents won't find when they run out of money.
