Another inside job a la Kardashian. The professional thieves know that Cannes brings out all the big jewels and have ins in most places. I think they looked at what people were wearing and targeted accordingly. I hope she gets her mom's ring back.

Yes, but most of the time it's safe. The big jewel houses loaning jewelry do it like it was depicted in Oceans 8; the security team and a rep from the jeweler meets you at the hotel to get you ready for the event. The security detail goes with you to the event and when it is over the detail takes the jewels back and return them to the jeweler.

i saw this earlier and thought it was the gucci jewels she wore for the event which was taken rather than anything personal, didn't see that those went straight back. awful that her mom's ring was taken.
