Hilarie Burton really lucked into her career. I don't think she's all that talented, but she's managed to work pretty steadily.

I haven’t watched this show in years and am thinking about rewatching to listen along, but I remember her being the weakest link in acting, particularly amongst the girls. Also hated her love story with Lucas

Yeah, I only watched the first season, but she was not great. I know the entertainment industry isn't fair, but it is always interesting to see who gets to learn on the job versus who needs to show up with training and a resume full of bit parts before they're give the chance to be a series or movie lead.

Yeah, she won a contest to be a VJ and transitioned that into an acting career. I don't think she's all that great of an actor but I remember her winning and feeling attached to her because TRL was everything so I still have nostalgic fondness for her for that reason.

this was always such a weird photoshoot for season 5. I remember the fans being up in arms about it c. 2008. I guess it was an an attempt to age them up 4 years after the time jump

it looks they used the healing tool? I found the original photo and took to photoshop to compare... there's nothing changed except for that mishap and the photo is slightly warped, but hilary's head isn't.

I’ve been wanting this rewatched some of one tree hill last year and it’s such a ridiculous show. I know they had a tough experience on set so when other shows have had rewatch podcasts this was a show I’d actually be curious about. Haven’t listened yet I worry joy might annoy me I don’t know anything about her so I could be way off just her Instagram I get vibes I do like Sophia and Hilarie a lot so hoping I’m working and that I’ll enjoy it
