Film insider Daniel Richtman claimed that the studio behind Tomb Raider 2 wants Angelina Jolie to appear in the new film.

According to the comments on that tweet Angelina was asked to do a 3rd part but she refused? Multiple times BUT that was back in 2008 and Angelina was like 33 back then.

Oh wow, they are actually doing a sequel?? Glad to hear it, I thought the first one was fun.

I don't think an Angie cameo is necessary, but I wouldn't be mad about it.

I went in to alicia's tomb raider with low expectations and ended up enjoying it immensely - I'd be interested in seeing Jolie in the sequel but IA with you, OP, not as her mother.

I really liked Alicia as Lara so I'm happy there's gonna be another one.
