Well, I never knew this until now. That man jumps in Midsommar and meets the mallet is actor Björn Andrésen aka Tadzio in Luchino Visconti's Death in Venice (1971). pic.twitter.com/YddjEXjIXa

When I watched Midsummar for the first time, I commented to my friend that the old man jumping off the cliff/ being used as a sacrifice was a damn waste. CUz his bone structure was on Fleek.

I've never heard about him or the movie that lead him to fame, but damn he truly was stunning, kinda like a painting come to life.

Edit: Okay, I just read about the movie's theme and how the whole production was towards Björn and 🤮
